Urvi, a seasoned physiotherapist with a decade of experience, hails from vibrant Mumbai, India. In 2018, she embarked on a new chapter in life immigrating to Canada. Driven by the vast potential of neuro-rehabilitation, she chose to become a physiotherapist. She has dedicated most of her career to working with clients who have neurological disorders. She has worked in many facets of physiotherapy including acute in-patient settings working with neurological disorders and stroke, spinal, and brain injuries, MS, and Parkinson's, as well as musculoskeletal therapies. Her credentials include NDT basics, Functional Electrical Stimulation, Vestibular Therapy, Perturbation-Based Balance training and Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation for Gait training.
In her free time, she is trying to embrace the Canadian lifestyle and learning winter sports like ice skating and cross country skiing amidst Calgary's long winters! She also enjoys spending time with her family that includes her husband and son.
