Nicole is a registered occupational therapist who has been practicing in the field of occupational therapy for 20 years. She is passionate about helping people cope, adapt and move through the challenges that life may present. Her work allows people to get the support they need to engage in the activities and roles they find important to their well-being. Nicole is client centered and utilizes the knowledge people possess about themselves and their situations to frame her approach to service. She works with clients to learn new skills to adapt to changes in health which may include environment assessment, equipment provision, cognitive assessment and mental health support. She has expertise in the older adult population, a group she has worked with for most of her career. She enjoys the life experience and knowledge of the older adult population and appreciates the many changes and associated stressors people face in this life stage.
When not practicing occupational therapy, Nicole enjoys spending times with her family, gardening, and a good cup of tea. She is a late-night baker and loves a good conversation.
