
Originally from Montreal, Julie graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego California with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Julie has experience in treating acute and chronic injuries and pain as well as post-surgical and neurological rehabilitation. She practices physiotherapy in a rehabilitation clinic as well as in the community, providing care to seniors in their home or in living facilities.
Julie enjoys providing treatment to clients with different conditions but has special interest in providing treatment for clients with Parkinson’s Disease and for those with amputations. Above all, her goal is to increase safety, mobility, independence and overall quality of life. She achieves this by providing education, exercise therapy, and manual therapy in a client-centered approach.
In the past, Julie worked as a yoga and freediving instructor and was a freediving competing athlete. She also enjoys SCUBA diving, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing.
