
Diane is a highly experienced physiotherapist with over 40 years of dedicated practice in both rural and long-term care settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University in 1981, followed by a degree in Physiotherapy in 1984.
For the first 35 years of her career, Diane worked in a rural community hospital, where she developed a deep understanding of comprehensive patient care across a broad spectrum of conditions. Over the past five years, she has focused on physiotherapy in long-term care facilities, providing compassionate and skilled support to aging populations.
Diane has extensive experience in post-operative rehabilitation, particularly for total hip and knee replacements. She has pursued advanced training in vestibular and balance physiotherapy and holds a Level III designation in the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
Her clinical interests include shoulder rehabilitation and applying motor control principles to improve movement and joint stability. Diane is passionate about helping her patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through evidence-based, personalized care.
