Theo Ortega, MSc.OT, is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto, dedicated to helping people regain independence and return to the activities that matter most in their daily lives. He has worked across Canada and the United States, supporting clients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, mental health challenges, oncology-related conditions, and complex presentations. Theo’s clinical experience spans hospital, community, and specialized oncology rehabilitation settings, including work in Orlando, Florida, where he further developed expertise in oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema care. He is passionate about delivering individualized, collaborative care that empowers clients to overcome barriers and rebuild meaningful routines. His practice is informed by extensive international travel across North and South America, Europe, and Asia, which has strengthened his cultural awareness and ability to tailor care to diverse needs. He also brings a unique perspective from his service in the Canadian Armed Forces, supporting his understanding of military personnel and veterans. Outside of work, Theo enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, including hiking, backcountry camping, skiing, scuba diving, and travelling abroad.
