Julia is an Occupational Therapist with five years of experience supporting older adults across long-term care and community settings. Julia graduated from Dalhousie University in 2021 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Julia currently works in both long-term care homes and the community, providing comprehensive in-home assessments and individualized care plans focused on mobility, fall prevention, activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive support, and safe aging in place. Julia has particular strengths in equipment prescriptions, home modifications, and detailed ADL assessments, ensuring that each recommendation is practical, personalized, and sustainable.
Throughout her career — including prior experience with the Red Cross — Julia has developed a strong foundation in collaborative, client-centered care. Julia works closely with client’s, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create solutions that promote safety while honouring each individual’s goals and routines. Julia is passionate about preserving dignity, independence, and quality of life, and she is committed to helping client’s remain engaged in meaningful activities and live confidently within their communities.
