Ella is passionate about helping individuals stay active, independent, and confident in their own homes. She believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to move comfortably and continue doing the activities that bring meaning to their daily lives. By providing physiotherapy in the comfort of each person's home, Ella is able to better understand their unique environment, routines, and goals, allowing her to deliver personalized care that supports safe, functional movement where it matters most.
Ella holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a Certificate in Disability Management, and a Master of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Her education has provided a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, movement science, and patient-centred care.
Ella has experience working with older adults, individuals living with neurological conditions, and people recovering from injury, surgery, or changes in mobility. She enjoys helping clients improve their balance, strength, walking ability, and confidence while reducing the risk of falls and supporting long-term independence. She takes the time to understand each person's goals, challenges, and lifestyle, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. She is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and confident throughout their rehabilitation journey. Whether the goal is returning to gardening, walking with family, navigating stairs safely, or simply maintaining independence at home, Ella is dedicated to helping her clients achieve meaningful improvements in their quality of life.
