Doug graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2021. His area of expertise is in acute rehab following orthopaedic, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. He has experience working ortho trauma unit, short stay surgical unit, and burn unit at the Halifax Infirmary. He also spent 2 years working at Health Science North in Sudbury, Ontario where his focus was rehab following limb amputations, bypass grafts, and lung resections.
His treatment approach is to utilize evidence-based practice to deliver safe and effective treatment plans aimed at improving function, mobility, and quality of life.
In his free time, he enjoys working out, running, biking, snowboarding and playing the guitar.
