Shona McLaren, Physiotherapist – Victoria

Shona graduated from McMaster University with a Master’s in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She has more than 10 years of experience working with a wide range of clients in hospital, community and home care settings. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association including the Seniors Health and Neurosciences Divisions.

Shona values her role in promoting quality of life and freedom of movement through a functional, client-centered approach to treatment. She has an interest in treating clients with neurological diagnoses such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease and especially enjoys seeing clients at home, the place where the complexities of their mobility issues can be the most pronounced.

Proud to have called Victoria home for many years, Shona especially enjoys being active outdoors and playing with her young daughters and family.
